So this was just announced today... a Pokemon mobile game!

I wonder if in-app purchases will be better Pokeballs. I can totally see having to buy Master Balls for 100% chance of capture. Like the games, you would get one, but any further you would have to shell out for. (And perhaps you get unlimited regular Pokeballs, or have to walk a certain amount of steps to earn them, or something.)

Yep, saw this a few days ago. It's a really neat idea, but I can see it taking you into areas you shouldn't enter just to catch a rare pokemon you haven't seen elsewhere. Imagine strolling into the wrong bathroom because you were hunting for a Charmander or something.

I don't bother with smart phones, so I won't get it personally, but my wife has one. I'm sure I will live vicariously through her Pokemon Go account, and get excited when she finds something I know to be awesome.

I've seen a lot of amazing memes with that exact problem, haha! But maybe, somehow, it will have some safety parameters to rectify that situation. Or else a nice disclaimer about being smart while using, haha.

Or maybe if you're in a certain distance from the spot, you can still catch the Pokemon? That way you could stand OUTSIDE the 'no entry' area.

I am really excited for the release of Pokemon GO. Once it comes out, I will also come out from my bedroom and start going out more. I guess my mother will be glad that I have a reason to go out and get some fresh air. I spend quite a lot of my time in my bedroom.

I'm so excited for this! The idea is brilliant. I hope that Nintendo won't screw us up with too many/too expensive micro-purchases, cause otherwise this game is a dream come true. I even want to get the Pokeball accessory, haha.

Agree. Hope that they won't ruin Pokemon Go with micropayments. Imagine finding a rare Pokemon and not being able to catch it, cause you've run out of Pokeballs and have to buy some for 30$! I would stop playing the game ASAP.
