Micro-transactions?

What do you think about the micro-transactions that are available to purchase in video games? Do you think they are a great addition to support the developers and will help in-game or they are ruining the fun?

I'm fine with micro-transactions as long as they are cosmetic only. I wouldn't like someone rich just to skip all the grinding and buy all the top items and destroy the other players.

As long as free to play video games comes into play, micro-transactions can never be eliminated from it. This is because that's one of the main option which the game developers make money from their games. Fortnite is a typical example of such a game.
