Basically whenever you want to purchase a video game there are mainly 2 ways to do it - a digital download or a physical copy of the game. Which one do you prefer and why?

Since I'm a PC user I definitely rather download the game over getting a physical copy of it. It's much cheaper and easier for me to purchase it from a store like Steam. But I guess that the console gamers are going for a physical box since the storage there might be a limit if they have too many games downloaded. And also, they can resell the game after finishing it which is a plus.

I used to like buying physical games but since I started moving a lot, it become very difficult to keep moving with all my collections. This was why I had to switch to buying only digital games.

I like physical games. Even if it gets pulled from the digital store, you still have a copy.

I also noticed the physical copies tend to either drop in price, or you can snag used copies significantly earlier than when the digital version goes down in price.

I lost count of how many games I got for like $20-30 when the digital version still retails for $60.
