THQ Nordic has given us a nice surprise which really fits with the current cold weather that is looming at the moment in many parts of the world. We have been treated to the latest trailer for the upcoming game, South Park: Snow Day which not only reveals gameplay for the co-op adventure but also shows abilities and weapons we will find in the game too.
The game, South Park: Snow Day was first teased in August 2022 when post-credits at the very end of the showcase THQ Nordic had in 2022 were snuck in. A whole year on, the game made a second showcase appearance which this time, unveiled its TV-show-like 3D visual style as well as revealing other details.
So far we know that South Park: Snow Day is being developed by The Blackout Club studio Question and that the game is a co-op adventure in which up to 4 players are able to play as either Kyloe, Kenny, Stan or Cartman.
The game is based on the characters enjoying a day away from school where they battle through the South Park streets that are blanketed with snow on a quest to save the world.
The reveal trailer which we have placed below is quite chaotic but it also offers a few small glimpses of gameplay but also shows some of the ranged and melee weapons that players will have access to in the game. We also see in the trailer, hints of powers and special abilities.
Also mentioned by THQ Nordic are iconic cosmetics that players can use to customize their New Kid which includes "Beanies to Cheesy Poof T-shirts to chin balls"
So far, we have not heard any news on a release date for South Park: Snow Day but we do know that it will be making it's way to Xbox Series X/S, PC and PlayStation 5 when it finally does release.
