First Nintendo game you ever managed to beat?

My first completed game had me celebrating so much I got yelled at for being too loud! I'd finally finished with the last dungeon of Super Mario 3. I was so overjoyed, I was excited for days! Games were so innocent then. I actually felt an achievement completing them. Not like most of the games today. That's one of the reasons I really love retro games.

Oh man I don’t think there is anything quite like high after beating Super Mario for the first time. I still faintly remember the day I beat it, my mom took me out for Pizza Hut lmao!
But I’d agree with you now and days a lot of games just don’t seem as rewarding  when you finally finish them.

I think the first one I ever beat entirely by myself was Majora's Mask or Link's Awakening. As for the first one I beat with my Dad, I think it would be Ocarina of Time.
