Do you like children?

I think it's funny when people say they don't like children, considering they WERE one before they grew into an adult. Someone dealt with you! They can be very frustrating, but rewarding.

I adore children. I don't have any of my own, but I do have 2 nieces and 3 nephews, all of them I have taken care of since birth, since one of my sisters just finally now got into a steady relationship and the other one is busy a lot, so I help out when I can. Wouldn't trade them for the world.

You could say I'm fascinated by them, and I find their happiness and joy quite contagious when I'm around them, but once the little demons inside them awaken, that feeling just completely disappears and I find myself honestly loathing them. They can be so annoying. I just don't have the energy for them.

Well said! While I don't plan to ever have children of my own (well, unless I adopt), I'm vary of people who say that they hate children. You don't have to love them or want them around, but hate? Clearly you must have some issues.

I don't like children in terms of the general - I do like specific children. Or to put it differently, I like individual children (particularly those I have some authority over) - however I dislike and avoid the vast number of the disobedient little hellspawn. And before anyone goes - "you were a kid", I was a quiet child with home training. I read books and spoke like a tiny adult. And I hated the children my age, because they were loud and disorderly and appeared to loath me. I did like smaller children to a point, but I only had so much patience for them. So yeah.

Same here man, I was always a mature child when I was younger. Never hung out with people my age either, was always with the older cats yet, that's what always got me into trouble..

I have two sons that I absolutely adore as well as nieces and nephews. I always knew I wanted to have children and the values I wanted to raise them with; you just pray you are doing all the right things. I do like other's children as well and enjoy volunteering at my son's school. Not all children are raised the same, of course; but you can tell those that don't get as much attention at home. It is always helpful to remember that all children deserve love and that you never know what is going on at home. God bless the educators who give so much to our children each day!

I know that taking care of children can be very challenging because kids can be very messy and annoying most of the time and the way they cry can always get on your nerves but that is what being a kid is all about.

I love them so much and I am definitely going to have at least five kids for myself as long as I have the money to take very good care of them.

Yes, I like children.
Yes, they can get a little annoying at times but that is how kids are.
In the future, I want to have 2 kids.

I do like children, some I will admit can be a little too much but kids can be like that and it's all part of growing up.

I have 4 children myself, two of which are now adults and two which are a few years away from being adults.
