I work electronics for walmart and I've heard nothing about it yet. Xbox One is starting to release more games backwards compatibility though. If i hear anything I'll let you know.

My friend told me about this recently, and I couldn't believe there was no backwards compatibility! I have been saving to get a PS4, and planned on selling the PS3... but now I have to hold onto it. It would be nice if you could play any of the PS games on the PS4 (or whatever the latest model is) simply because... well... that makes sense. The size of the game disc itself has not changed, so really, there's no excuse. But it's good to see they're at least working on the situation. Would love to be able to play any game on the latest models so I don't have to keep a system from each era!

Thanks for keeping us in the loop, Codie. :)

PS Now is all they have right now but all it does is stream old PS3 games. Still, if you're internet connection is good enough DL wise I would try it out.

(Beefy price point)

I kind of like the fact that I have two separate systems. I have pretty large digital collections on both systems, and there's no way I'd have enough storage space on just one system. Also, it would probably take me forever to find the game I want if they were all on the same system.

PS Now also makes it easier for me to play a game that I missed out on on the PS3 on the PS4, I just wish Sony's servers were more stable, as quality fluctuates all the time.
